1. Abella Pizza

Abella Pizzeria is located just outside the Stadium district in Tacoma and just a few short blocks from the waterfront. The restaurant has a cute brick interior and quite a large dining area to accommodate many customers. There is also an outdoor eating area for the rare nice, sunny day in Washington. The pizza is incredible – so cheesy and they definitely don’t skimp on the toppings! All of the dough is made in-house and I swear you can taste a HUGE difference in comparison to chain restaurants. They also offer pasta, salad, and calzones.

 Abella Pizzeria is open from 9:30 AM to 8 PM Monday through Friday and 11 AM through 8 PM on the weekends.

The restaurant has a simple menu and very decent pricing. This restaurant only takes pickup or delivery orders – there are no seating areas. They also offer salads, breadsticks, and a variety of different kinds of pasta.

Pizza Pizzaz is open for takeout or delivery only between 10 AM to 10 PM seven days a week except on Friday and Saturday nights when they are open until 11 PM.

If you are looking for a more upscale pizza experience, then this restaurant is what you are looking for! With a beautiful ambiance and soft lighting, it makes for the perfect date night. It also includes a saloon-styled fully stocked bar for anyone 21 and over, and let me tell you – their drinks are incredible! The restaurant offers more than just pizza, with that said, their wood-fired pizza is absolutely delicious and very decently priced. Their pizza also has great flavor and the right balance of cheese and sauce.

Wooden City is open from 4 PM to 9:30 PM seven days a week.

All of their dough is made in-house, which provides a deeper flavor and great consistency – perfectly chewy and fluffy. The pizza is packed with yummy cheese and toppings of your choice, then cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself has a cozy seating area and a couple of arcade games for the kids.

Tacoma Pie is open Wednesday and Thursday between 3-10 PM, 3 PM – 11 PM Friday and Saturday, and Sunday between 12 PM and 8 PM. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The ambiance of the restaurant is very casual and they have a fully stocked bar, along with TVs for watching sports. It is great for kids and adults alike, and it is one of my favorite places to suggest for birthday parties. The pizza is cheesy and stacked with toppings, and you can even have a “drizzle” of your favorite dressing or sauce on your pizza once it has finished cooking.

The Farrelli’s Pizza on 6th Avenue specifically is open 11 AM to 10 PM Sunday though Thursday and 11 AM to 12 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. Other locations’ hours may vary.

Speaking of time, the restaurant works extremely fast and you have your food in minutes! The crust is perfect, and the fresh mozzarella is center-stage in the spectacular dining experience. If you have room for dessert the chocolate gelato is also to die for!

Their prices are a bit high for pizza, but it is worth it for the quality of the pizza that you receive. Sig Brewing Company is a great place for kids and families alike, but make sure to get there early because there are no minors allowed after 7 PM.

Sig Brewing Company is open 3 PM to 9 PM Tuesday through Thursday, 12 PM to 10 PM Friday and Saturday, and 12 PM to 7 PM on Sundays. They are closed on Mondays.
